Game Art grad at Black Engine Games
Tom Gariti moved to Seattle to pursue a career in the game industry after graduating from the Game Art program. Through networking and contacts he had made while at Full Sail, Tom landed at Black Engine Games – founded by Game Design and Recording Arts alumni – and worked on Gravity Well. He’s currently working on an upcoming, undisclosed project with Black Engine Games.
Angela De Castro: Product Manager for 'Hunt: Showdown'
Entertainment Business grad Angela De Castro is currently the product manager for Hunt: Showdown – handling marketing and community activities for the game.
Luis Lairet: Lead Tools Engineer for CRYENGINE
Currently, Luis Lairet is the lead tools engineer for CRYENGINE – Crytek’s in-house game engine – and manages a team of engineers and designers to work on future Crytek projects. His latest work was on Hunt: Showdown. Luis’s work on CRYENGINE was also featured in VR titles like The Climb and Robinson: The Journey.
Grad Takes Home Honors at Atlanta Film Festival
Eric White has written multiple award-winning short films with his writing partner (and fellow Full Sail grad) Yonathan Teferi. Most recently, the duo's short comedy Color Blind won the 2018 Atlanta Film Festival’s Audience Award for Best Short Film. Eric has additionally worked in art departments for TruTV, Cartoon Network, and other feature films. Currently, Eric and Yonathan work with several Atlanta directors, producers, and production companies developing pilots, shorts, and feature films.
Ryne Gierke's Emmy-Nominated Audio Work on 'Homeland'
Since graduating from the Recording Arts program, Ryne Gierke has worked on Empire, The Goldbergs, Electric Dreams, The Good Doctor, and Unsolved, but it's his work on Showtime drama Homeland that earned Emmy nominations in 2017 and 2018 for Outstanding Sound Editing.
The Expanding Ambient Career of Music Production Grad Bryan Hilyard
Bryan Hilyard is continuing his music career with two more well-received releases via Cryo Chamber and Stereoscenic. Since graduation, Bryan has been an independent artist specializing in ambient and cinematic underscore music.
Andrew Rau on ‘Generation Zero’
Computer Animation grad Andrew Rau is currently working as a full-time animator on Avalanche’s latest title, Generation Zero – set to release in March 2019.
Boston-based Grad Balances Business Relations
Digital Arts & Design and Graphic Design graduate Chris Brady is currently the partner alliance manager at Boston digital marketing agency Velir. Previous to that, Christopher has worked in a variety of project management and web design-based jobs for companies like Sophos, Karma Loop, and Boston Bhangra Inc.
Brandon Yates Joins Hi-Rez Studios
Brandon Yates recently started working at Hi-Rez Studios – famous for their multiplayer games Smite, Paladins: Champions of the Realm, and Realm Royale. Previously, Brandon worked on Injustice 2 with House of Moves and Days Gone with Sony.
Creative Writing Grad Now Narrative Designer at Awem Games
Wes Locher has recently joined Awem Games as a narrative designer for their game Cradle of Empires, as well as another, undisclosed title. Wes additionally continues to work as a game writer for FableLabs on their Tales - Choose Your Own Story game app. When not writing games, he continues to write and publish comic books.
